The World Forum on Energy Regulation

The World Forum on Energy Regulation is the world's foremost conference in energy regulation.
It was created as a cooperative effort by the world's main regional regulatory associations.
It aims at providing a venue where energy regulators and other energy market stakeholders
may discuss issues and experiences of common interest.

	The first edition of the World Forum took place in Montreal in October 2000.
	The second edition took place in Rome in October 2003.
	The third edition of the World Forum was hosted by the US National Association of Regulatory Commissioners in Washington DC on 8-11 October 2006.
	The fourth edition took place in Athens in October 2009.
	The fifth edition will take place in Quebec City (Canada) in 2012.
