This section presents Training programmes organised for Energy regulators. You will find two main sections in it: programmes endorsed by the International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER), proposed by its Virtual Working Group on Education, Training and Best Practices (VWG4), divided into Annual training, Specialised Training, Summer School programmes found, filed and proposed by the International Energy Regulators Network (IERN) divided by continent and then by country.
The main difference between the two is that ICER has a regional approach (its members are Regional Regulatory Authorities, see more in the Archive section of the website), whereas IERN is more focused on single National Regulatory Authorities or single universities, regulation institutions or schools of regulation. Moreover, IERN aims at providing the widest and completest range of information possible to any interested user about programmes held anywhere in the world, but cannot guarantee on their quality or respondance to the needs of regulators. However, IERN database is filled with names, data, dates and locations of institutions of remarkable importance in their national or macro-regional context.
